Benefits
VLST offers comprehensive and competitive benefits for its regular, full-time employees. Below, please find a summary of these benefits.

Health Care Coverage
Eligible employees, spouses and their dependents are eligible to receive health benefits.  Coverage includes medical, dental and vision services.

Health Care Reimbursement program
Eligible employees may enroll in the company’s health care reimbursement program.  This program provides a reimbursement to employees for out-of-pocket expenses relating to IRS Section 123 items.  Examples include major medical deductibles, co-pays, orthodontia or other medical services that are not covered or reimbursed under the health care insurances.

Life and Disability Coverage
Life insurance, short term and long term disability benefits are provided for eligible employees. Employees may also elect to participate in additional life insurance plans for themselves and/or their spouse.

401(K)
All eligible employees, who are 21 years or older, may participate in VLST’s 401(k) plan. Employees are eligible to enroll on the first day of the month following their hire date.

Vacation and Holidays
All regular, full-time VLST employees receive 15 days of paid vacation in their first five years of services.  Employees will continue to earn more vacation days per year as their service time increases beyond 5 years. 

In addition, the company provides a minimum of 8 named holidays a year.  Eligible employees will also be able to take floating holidays each year, the number of which depends on the employee’s start date.

Cafeteria Plans
Section 132 & 125 cafeteria plans. Eligible employees are offered pre-tax deductions from payroll for health, dependent care and transportation.
